Hey Jéjé,

met your mother on the street last week in MS. She had just talked to you on the phone the very day, so she told me a bit about your work situation and Paloma. It was really nice meeting her again after such a long time and she's really very sweet. You're a lucky bastard with your parents ;). But I am, too. So, keep up all the good work. Maybe see you next year in MS?

Hugs,
Anna

ECOCHO.com plants a tree for every 1000 web-searches

Dear fellows,

recently, I came across www.ecocho.com which is a search engine using yahoo servers (google canceled participation after initially supporting the project) . ECOCHO promises to plant trees for every 1000 web-searches that users do from their website. Test it, and maybe you would like to change your start-up page in your web-browser to ecocho.com and use it more frequently, instead of "googleing" through the www.

As soon as "ecocho", yahoo or google results reveal that the ecocho-t… Continue

what shall we do with the bio-fuels boom?

i've somehow lost the entry that I just made somewhere on our biofuels-discussion. Gladly, I copied it, so here is my short comment on the topic... thanks for spreading the WEB-HINT and for your comments!! Johho

for sure bio-fuels are a very ambivalent topic: the dilemma is that
sooner or later, the world economy will depend on it to replace fossile
fuels. fuels from temperate plants seem to be as bad for the climate as
fossile fuels, while the demand for fuels from tropical planta… Continue
