To your questions: It is never easy to build up an environmental movement. It needs a lot of persistence. So do not give up. Best, you join people which are already active. There should be environmental organisations around you. Otherwise ask Dian, she should know about it. If you can get active at your university together with other students, it would be a good idea to focus on one ! envirionmental issue first! Set a clear target on what you want to achieve (e.g. convince the university administration to use recycling paper...although this is a stupid example)...then think about activities to reach your target and make them realistic and measurable. If you and your friends have success on small achievements this is a great motivation. But remember: it is always a learning process, so for the beginning this is the most important goal of getting active.

to answer your question, yes we have a national lottery- but you have to pay to enter it. If you have recieved an email saying you have won then it is not real, i am afraid!
