It has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime. What better place than here, what better time than now?

Hello all. Just got the package with the movie and magazine as I got back this week :) Thanks very much.

It got me re-thinking again my definition of "biodiversity-dependent" persons... those who work directly with the land, forest, etc. But aren't we all-- in every single way-- biodiversity-dependent? This distinction is a big part of the problem. Again, as our concentrated energy sources (oil) shrink, getting people to live close to their production-- or produce their own-- is getting more im… Continue

Hey Bea,

The Secretariat of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), in cooperation with the United Nations University – Traditional Knowledge Centre,

Participation is by invitation only. Pursuant to CBD procedure, a call for nominations of experts has been sent to registered indigenous organizations.

Hello Bea,
I'm going to Poznan UNFCCC COP-meeting in December together with the Young Friends of the Earth Europe. We're gonna lobby delegates to make the right decision about making deep cuts in the emissions... and for this we firstly need to know what people are actually going there! We also would like to make some contacts with other NGO:s going there to make our lobbying as efficient as possible. Are you going there as a lobbyist? (it would be great to see you again!) Do you know any delegates, definite or maybe? For example I found this link about Youth delegates on Bali: http://childreninachangingclimate.blogspot.com/2007/12/hanna-16-is-from-stockholm-in-sweden.html. Do you know who any of those people are? There is a Philippine girl there, and I know Philippines have 100 million inhabitants but still you might know her...

Combs connecting the world! Thanky you so many times. I get two formal letters from the university, some bills and a shiny letter from Singapure.
Connecting the world not by Internet, but rather by humans!
In any, there will be a reply.

Hej Bea!
Hur mår du? Du övar väl flitigt på din svenska? :P

Guess what I did today? I took my handwritten notes from Kamp K and wrote them digital on the computer! Finally! Do you want them? Don't remember if someone else made notes there. Anyway, I'm preparing a strategy workshop for YEE annual meeting, so I thought I could use some ideas from Kamp K. Some of our obstacles are similar and I liked your way to go about it!

Let me know how it's going with all ideas that came up in Kamp K! What about the social enterprise and other projects? The new constitution? By the way, such an honour it was to get permission to observe your congress :)

Kram!

Hi Beatrice,
I work for the NAJU in Berlin and are responsible for the kids section. Right now I am working on an article about water for the NABU magazin. For that I want to ask kids all over the world what water means for them. I am missing an interview with a kid, which lives in the asia-pacific area . Could you help me? I have prepared six questions for the kids and I also need a picture.
Would be great! Regards, Meike
