Deforestation practices is drastically increasnig in Africa especially West Africa due to its rapid poulation change. This rapid population is not supported or back-up by by means of subsistence. As such the forest is been trampled upon for agricultural practices and for fuel.
The destruction of forest for agriculture using the slash and burn method of agriculture results to carbon emissions which have a corresponding effect on climate change.
The question is how can poverty be used to curb down global warming in developing countries?
