Here you find the resolution texts of the international youth conference "Biodiversity on the Edge", which were drafted by 60 participants from more than 25 countries. The resolution was handed to more than 120 ministers and distributed widely at CBD

I have just read a news article in German:
http://www.tagesschau.de/inland/artenschutzkonferenz2.html
According to them the German chancellor called for the establishment of a protected area network on land until 2010 and a marine protected area network until 2012. This goes pretty much in our direction...maybe she has read our resolution ;o)
Nevertheless, lets hope for a fruitful outcome of the COP.
